How to Treat Premature Infants with Respiratory Distress Syndrome

Looking at our baby with respiratory distress syndrome will make us feel empathy, even we, as parent, sometime think that if it can be replaced, we will sincerely replace our baby. but it is absolutely just our imagination. however if we have a premature baby with respiratory distress syndrome we should not be panic because it can be treated as well as possible. what is the best treatment for newborn whose respiratory disorder. here are some the ways which usually doctor or nurse do.
The treatment for newborn baby  with respiratory disturbance is usually treated with move him or her as soon as possible after the infants born into the delivery room which is called neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).  in NICU room the baby will be treated by professional assistant or nurse who has been specialized to care the premature baby. 

The following is another way to treat the premature baby with Respiratory Distress Syndrome

The most important thing in treating the newborn baby is replacing the surfactant liquid that helps his airways in the lungs open widely then baby could breath much better. it is usually provided through breathing tubes. after being given surfactant liquid, the breathing tubes is then connected to the ventilator, a machine that supports breathing, so that the infant will be able to breath better. besides ventilator, the newborn baby can also be treated by giving extra oxygen therapy.

Giving surfactant liquid is usually given as soon as possible in the the maternity room to avoid the risk of  Respiratory Distress Syndrome. in order to prevent bear premature baby, the pregnant women are usually given  the medicines called corticosteroids during pregnancy to make the development of surfactant lung.
Well, over all, those treatments above is believed as the best way in recent decade to treat and prevent respiratory distress syndrome for newborn baby.
